The 2008 Nissan QASHQAI Challenge is in the books as producing one of the most exciting events to date. Plenty of surprises at the grand final ensured a shake up in the overall standings. The local boys stole the show in London, firing up the 50,000 spectators right in front of Tate Modern, one of the nation’s most popular art galleries. Colchester’s Sam Pilgrim took the win for the biggest result of his career, and Manchester’s Lance McDermott’s consistency scored him the overall title and the sport’s largest cash purse of €40,000!

Nissan QASHQAI Challenge comes to London

Back for another year after its phenomenal success, the Nissan QASHQAI Challenge is bigger and badder than ever. It’s set to bring intense mountain bike action right to the heart of London, plus some of Europe’s most exciting cities.

The 2008 Nissan QASHQAI Challenge features two qualifying contests, in Milan, Madrid, with the competition continuing in Munich, and the final in London on the 24th May. The venue for the final is a fantastic riverside spot right outside the Tate Modern.
